The lobby is the only updated thing about this hotel. It looks beautiful but there is limited seating for breakfast.
Breakfast was HORRIBLE. I've never had anything as bad as this. Everyone was complaining about it to each other. Food ran out and the lady was not refilling. They had very limited options, and half of the machinery didn't work. We left feeling hungry.
This hotel could be a five star hotel if the owners actually cared about it.
I highly recommend this place. It's Clean, comfortable and the customer service is great. The girls at the front desk, Madeline and Tatiana were so courteous and helpful. I left my cell phone in the shuttle and these girls made sure I got it back! Comfort suites will be our first choice for all our future trips !
Had a wonderful stay. We haven't been this way in over ten years, but we most always stayed here. The staff especially Faith were fantastic. Most definitely will be back.
Stayed at the Comfort Inn in Black Horse AC with my family to celebrate our mother's 83rd birthday. Best placed to stay and enjoy their complimentary breakfast which is included with reservations. I usually stay in this one because of the ocean view in either winter or summer. I highly recommend to all.
The "private beach" doesn't really seem so private. There's a sign talking about monthly and yearly parking fees so it seems like it's open for the public. Thankfully if didn't seem crowded when we stayed. Then again, that might be because it smelled like sulfur for some reason and there was dead crabs everywhere. Also it said do not swim without water shoes because there's sharp objects in the water? It seems like this "beach" has waste dumped into it...
It just needs some touching up.
All in all its a good place to stay in one night for a quick stop. The lady at the desk was really nice! We had a little mix up with our reservation dates and she was patient and helped us work it out.
The bathrooms don't have ventilation, but most hotels don't. It's a little dirty in the corners of the bathtub, but it was most likely rust not mold.
The rooms are okay. You can tell it's a little old, but it's clean. All it really needs is some touching up. Maybe some new paint and more workers. We got a suite for a good price.
Stayed here before with no issues. Beds are comfortable, rooms are relatively clean. This time tho, the toilet water smelled like it was unfiltered water from the bay. Only there two nights and hardly in the room so didn't bother complaining, hopefully it was a temporary issue.
